I thought I would try some stream of consciousness writing a while back. this is what happened:
I am Burke Lindvall. The only Burke Lindvall I know of . People define me by my good nature, joyful spirit, and teddy-bear-like appearance. others describe me as a successful scholar, athlete, and leader. I would describe myself as a follower of Jesus and a servant of God. It may sound corny or even cliche or too radical for our time, but I truly want to serve God with who I am and what I do. I came from a Christian family. Our family is very close and we love each other dearly. My brother is my best friend and my parents are my role models. I have lived in Kansas as well as Minnesota, but home is where the heart is and I can learn to love anyone and anyplace. I am going to school this year in order to further my education and use it as a stepping stone into the 'real world'. Ultimately I am going to work in ministry as some sort of pastor or counselor in an evangelical setting. I want to marry, although I have hardly dated, never seriously. I will, however, maintain a high standard and hold out for the 'perfect one'. I have a desire for truth. I believe truth is found in the gospel just as it is found through experience. I want to seek truth through loving others as Christ loved us.
